Air conditioning through solar
Euromed Eco Power Co Ltd distributes and installs solar fuelled chillers for cooling and air-conditioning applications in the small and medium scale performance range up to 75 kW cooling capacity. This technology uses heat as a primary energy source for cold production instead of electricity.
Air-conditioning of Small and Medium-sized Buildings with Low Energy Consumption
Nominal cooling capacity units of 8 kW and 15 kW– are best suited for air-conditioning and cooling of one- or multi-family houses as well as smaller commercial and office buildings. These compact machines use water as refrigerant, are almost noiseless, are ‘service reduced’ and represent an environmentally-friendly as well as economical alternative to conventional chillers. When operated correctly savings on energy and CO2 of up to 90% are possible.
Innovative Technologies – Broad Application in Thermal Cooling
Three main innovations– innovative coating, compact design, optimized subsystem (incl. re-cooler) – allow the production of compact and easy-to-handle chillers that are suited for a broad range of thermal cooling applications.
Thermal Cooling and Energy Savings
The innovative chillers offer the opportunity to use solar or waste heat for cold production and to minimize electrical and primary energy consumption.
Electricity consumption is relatively negligible (less than 0,1% of cooling capacity). If used as cold water chillers, e.g. for air-conditioning of buildings, electricity demands can be reduced by up to 90 % compared to conventional cooling systems when and chiller is correctly applied and operated. The CO2 emissions are reduced accordingly
